“ I had a great time reconnecting with an old friend. I was glad he took me to this restaurant. It’s been in Austin for years and years he used to run his business out of there and it’s so nice dining at a restaurant that’s been around a while and not a new chain restaurant the weight staff was amazingand the food was great ”
“ Excellent authentic Mexican cuisine with a great variety yet simple menu options. The staff is amazing. Took my aunt and her dear friend for a birthday treat. What an honor to join these beautiful ladies in this incredible restaurant ”
“ One of my favorite spots in Austin. Always fast and delicious. ”
“ I love this place. I had the pozole and it was EXCELLENT. Fresh crispy warm tortilla chips with a good salsa. The pastries are great. Comfortable large booth seating. Would be a great place to take about 6 people and enjoy the booth seating. The people are super nice. I will visit again!!!! ”
“ We stopped by for lunch, and there weren't many people there. Our food came out within minutes, and may I add it was delicious. Great service. We also took home some pastries from their bakery next door. We really enjoyed it and will return. ”
“ Best quesadilla I’ve had in a while. Very nice blend of queso cheese, hefty guacamole and toppings as you can see in the picture, good quality steak. For 15, including delicious fresh chips and salsa while i waited I’ll happily come back. Honestly, the menu is doing a disservice to how good this place is. Put some simpler stuff on there! Ya’ll have such good ingredients, you should be selling at higher volumes! Cheers ”
“ The happy hour is weekdays 3-6pm and the house marg was only 4! The food tasted great and came out quickly. 10/10! Update: I went back and tried new dishes. They were still great! More photos added. ”
“ I visited this place for the first time with someone that lives in that neighborhood. Being from the border myself, my friend knew I'd want legit Mexican food and not TexMex. He was right. The food was authentic, and the offerings on the menu were all legit options. The built-in bakery was a nice bonus. They have all the usual Mexican sweet breads. ”
